Purpose and Reason:

The Medical Assistance rules are amended to reflect an increase to the Minimum Protected Resource Amount from $22,728 to $23,184 and an increase to the Maximum Protected Resource Amount from $113,640 to $115,920.

Brief statement of Reason for Finding Imminent Peril:

To prevent beneficiaries from being wrongly deprived of benefits needed for their support.
